Case Mod Project (Phase 3)

So I finally got over the laziness and desire to play video games and stripped my case of parts and prepped it for sanding.

Full Case, ready to be emptied

I could have just unscrewed the front and top and I could have done this a while ago, but nooo.. they had to have those stupid bolt things instead of screws for the top part of my case....

These little buggers made things difficult

So after 15 minutes of unscrewing and careful placement, I got all the things out and had an empty case.

Full to Empty in 15 minutes. Kinda like a Hummer 3, no?

So I didn't take so many pictures, since I want to minimize downtime on my desktop. But I did get my roommate to snap a couple while my hands were covered in stripped paint.

Case Mod Project (Phase 2)

So I did some more painting today, put on the green coat. Here it is:

Next phase is going to be cammo-fying it, coupled with the blue stencil printing.

CoH Jeep Case Mod, Phase 1

So a couple weeks ago I decided to turn my case into a Jeep from Company of Heroes (I told you I really like that game). So I've got a very rough example of what my proposed case will look like here. Just picture it with a lot less scratches and some bullet holes (textures, not real ones :P ):
What it should look like, except a bit less delapidated

So yea, I started work on it this last weekend. Here's phase 1:

It's getting on its way, I just need to find some time when I can empty out my case, since the top and front panel can't come off =(
And yes, that is a hard drive converted into a sanding block.
